Buffalo Gap, Pecan Bayou, Abilene State Park
If you are ever visiting Abilene, Texas you'll want to visit these three
historic camping spots of the Comanche and other Indian tribes traveling this
area. Gelo and Pate's Texas Indian Trails include these
three as
part of their "Rolling Plains" tour; see red circles on top map below:
Buffalo Gap top, Pecan Bayou lower right, Abilene State Park lower left.
